A car approached my dog, Dexter, and I on our leasurly walk. Dexter's head perked up and he stared at the approaching vehicle, his body tence with exitement. I told him not to chase it. The car passed with no problem. Even though my dog didn't know why I'd told him not to chase the car, he obayed.
Later, in Church, we discussed obedience to the Lord. It then occered to me that I should obay the Lord like Dexter had obayed me. I may be baffled at the Lords commands, but I should still obay him willingly.
